How to Download ECZ e-Statement of results?
- 1) Click on E-STATEMENT OF RESULTS
- 2) Click on CANDIDATE SIGN IN
- 3) Select the LEVEL (see diagram)
- 4) Enter Examination Number
- 5) Hit the Continue tab
- 6) Click on “ELECTRONIC STATEMENT OF RESULTS” to view, download and print the PDF file.

How to Print ECZ e-Statement of Results?
If you get a message saying, ‘The statement of results has been successfully generated BUT the statement is not shown in the browser’, your browser pop-up blocker does now allow the action to take place.
To fix it, you need to enable pop-ups in your web browser. In that case, you will be required to redo the download process.

- You open the new message pad on your Mobile Phone
- Type the full Examination Number (Leave Space)
- Type the Examination Year (Leave Space)
- Type the Examination Grade and
- Send to 8383

ECZ Results Online 2023
Many students and parents are asking when the 2023 ECZ Grade 7, 9, 12 and GCE results are coming out.
In a response to this question on Facebook a week ago (see screenshot), the Examination Council of Zambia said they’ll inform the public soon. However, a definite date has yet to be announced.
The best thing to do is to check the ECZ website for the latest updates and the latest on Grade 7, 9, 12 and GCE exam results for 2023.
Marking and Final Exam Results 2023
From the outset, two events must take place before the exam results come out. That means that the ECZ has to finalise examination results before the Ministry of General Education officially releases the results.
Marking and processing of marks are delicate work and have to be handled with care and due diligence.
Here is what is likely to happen before the 2023 Grade 12 results are released to the public:
- Making of the Grade 12 Examinations (in progress, done by markers)
- Processing of examination marks and students’ school data (pending, done by ECZ)
- An announcement that Grade 12 results are ready (pending, done by govt/education minister)
- Release of Grade 12 results (after the announcement, done by ECZ)
- Access Grade 12, 9 and 7 results (by students)
The process needs to be followed thoroughly before the final results are released online for students to access.
When will ECZ e-Statement of Results 2023 come out?

Between 2016 and 2018, the examination results have been released in the last week of December, whereas in 2019 and 2020 the ECZ results came out early in January.
