The school cut-off marks for admission to Grade 6 in 2023 will be based on the results of 2022 Grade 5 scholarship examination.
Schools can check for their children’s Grade 6 cut-off mark via the Department of Examinations website. Follow the steps:

- Select Option 1, Option 2 or login as System User.
- Then, select Year and enter ‘Index number’. (If you are login as System User, enter ‘User name’ and ‘Password’.
- Hit ‘LOGIN’ and access the Grade 5 scholarship results and Grade 6 cut-off mark.
Appeal to admit grade 6
If a child has not been allocated school or wants to change the allocated school on reasonable grounds has the opportunity to submit his/her appeals online. But, the child must qualify based on cut-off marks based on the 2022 Grade 5 scholarship examination results before submitting the appeal.
All the appeals must be submitted to the Ministry of Education only online. Appeals submitted by hand or any other way will be rejected.
