Ministry of Education in conjunction with the Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB results PDF) released the 2022 Malawi School Certificate Education (MSCE) examination with a 58.44% pass rate on Friday the 2nd of December 2022.

About 152,391 learners sat for this year’s examinations which were leakage free.

Education Minister Agnes Nyalonje told the news conference in the capital Lilongwe that she is happy with the improved exam results as compared to the last two exams.

This year’s results are an improvement compared to 2021 exam results which were at 52.%.

MANEB Executive Secretary Professor Dorothy Nampota said she was equally ecstatic with the success of the examination.
